Taking Pictures

When I was visiting Nijo Castle in Kyoto, I took a picture of this beautiful French couple outside of one of the buildings. I had asked them to take my picture and then offered to return the favor. I took the photo with the husband’s camera. They posed and I counted “3-2-1” before snapping the picture. I looked at it and instantly wanted a copy for myself. They looked so great with the sunlight, nature and ancient Japanese architecture in the background. I just handed them the camera, asked if it was alright, and then smiled when they said thanks. I was hoping to take more pictures of people in kimono and traditional wear, but I do have these two.
